“You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.
Ansel Adams

In photography, the smallest thing can be a great subject. The little, human detail can become a Leitmotiv.
-- Henri Cartier-Bresson

Digital Photography allows us just not to capture memories but it also allows us to create them.

I am from a small village in germany, where are lots of meadows and fields, which is why and how I got into nature photography. If I would be living in a metropolis, maybe I would have gotten into street photography, who knows?!
I am a photographer for four years now, but always with long breaks. I would consider myself as a beginner who is happy to try out new things, and sometimes the result is a great shot.
In the beginning I always wanted everything to be perfect, but I soon figured out that it takes a great amount of time and practise to even be good. I was very frustrated back then but now I consider every bad photo as a good practise. The patience I gained because of photography is the most  important part of my developement as a photographer for me.
I like macro photography the most because there is always a subject to take a picture of. You simply don't have to drive kilometre after kilometre to get to the highest mountain, or look out for the most beautiful model, one step away from your front door is often enough. Plus, you can take a picture of a detail of the nature, which you wouldn't have seen with just your eyes.

A lot of photographers think that if they buy a better camera they’ll be able to take better photographs. A better camera won’t do a thing for you if you don’t have anything in your head or in your heart.

– Arnold Newman

What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce.

― Karl Lagerfeld

I am not interested in rules or conventions. Photography is not a sport.
